Delete your Obiba account
Request account closure and deletion of associated personal information by emailing hello@obibajk.com. This route is available without signing in to the app.

Email hello@obibajk.com with the subject “Obiba account deletion”. If possible, send from the email address linked to your account. State that you want your account and associated data deleted. Do not include your password, PIN, one-time codes, private keys or identity documents in the initial message.
2. Verification and outstanding activity
The request may require proportionate identity verification. Any remaining balance, pending payment, dispute or legal restriction must be addressed before closure is completed. Ask support for the steps relevant to your account and confirmation when the request is completed. Sending an email does not instantly delete an account.
3. Information removed and retained
Account information and other associated personal information that no longer has a lawful reason for retention should be deleted or anonymised. Transaction, verification, fraud-prevention or dispute records may need to be retained for a legal obligation or unresolved matter. Ask for the retained categories, reason and applicable period. Public blockchain records cannot generally be erased by Obiba.
4. Deleting the app is different
Uninstalling Obiba or disabling notifications does not close an account or request deletion. You may also ask for deletion of website enquiry information without closing an account. Refer to the Privacy Policy for further rights and complaint routes.
